Eastern Screech Owl
The ICU Eastern Screech Owl is
a small, nocturnal, woodland Owl found in eastern North America.
This owl is one of the smallest of the
species, measuring only 8 to 9 inches in length. Screech owls are rarely
sighted, and are nocturnal in nature.
The Eastern Screech Owl
appears in the wild in different colors, or "phases". The ICU Owl is the Red
phase variety, with a reddish brown being its feathering primary color.
