The artist returned to his grandfather's farm in Somerset County, Maryland. It had been bought by the Maryland Ornithological Society and posted as a "No Hunting" area. The farm is slowly turning into marsh and is a favored habitat for a wide variety of bird life. The locals see it differently. The Posted signs, riddled with gunfire, have become convenient targets. Ths irony and humor is Americana at is best. Each measure approximately 11.5"W x 17"H x 2.5"D.
